All is quiet

Destruction all around
The horrors of the day
Now only memories

If only just moments ago...

Overwhelming grief and sadness
Unbearable loss
Riding waves of emotion
Releasing feelings,  coming to
Shores of divine devotion

Emphasis on creation
Moving forward well
Not to be followed by
The past's evil spell

In the here and now
Eye on the mark
Into the dawning light
May great future embark

In the distant horizon
